“Love is—” is a short film inspired by the quiet, everyday love

I grew up seeing in my mum. As a child, I thought love had to

be big and dramatic — but over time, I came to understand it

as something steady, unspoken, and found in small, thoughtful moments.

Told from my perspective as her child, the film reflects on how her quiet love has shaped my understanding of what love can be. It explores how intergenerational relationships leave behind lessons that last.

Visually, the film blends cinematic scenes with simple, real-life moments. The sound design captures the soft, familiar sounds of home — creating an intimate space for the story to unfold.

In the end, “Love is—” is both a thank you and a reminder: the quietest kind of love is often the most enduring.
