FLYING RUNS IN THE FAMILY — EPISODE 3:

A short documentary exploring how family legacy shapes career paths within Singapore Airlines, told through the dynamic between two brothers and their father.

This episode leans into a playful and competitive tone, shaped around the personalities of the brothers. From small details like who had the shiniest shoes growing up, the narrative builds on their natural rivalry while grounding it in a shared family history.

Filmed in the family home, the visual approach is warm and intimate, contrasted with more expressive treatments such as split screens and fisheye perspectives to bring out the quirks and energy of their relationship.

To hold three perspectives within a single episode, the story is driven through narration, with the father positioned as the anchor of legacy, tying the past to the present.

We also leaned into vintage Singapore Airlines items and personal trinkets, explored through macro and probe lens shots to give a fresh perspective on objects that carry history and meaning.

The film balances structure and play, allowing personality to drive both pacing and visual treatment.

A playful take on legacy, shaped by rivalry,

memory, and perspective.
