BE REAL explores the tension between movement and stillness through a series of composed frames and restrained choreography.

Developed in close collaboration with the choreographer, the piece began with simple sketches and references to align on spatial intent and camera language. Movement was shaped around the environment, allowing architecture, light, and framing to guide the visual rhythm.

Shot on location in Singapore, the film leans into natural geometry and contrast, using minimal intervention to let moments unfold with clarity and precision.

This project marks an early exploration into dance filmmaking, focusing on translating instinctive visual ideas into structured, repeatable frames.
